(DVS) offers a range of services for both existing facilities and new
construction.
Our services are as follows:

 Security
surveys and risk assessments of existing facilities,
including corporate buildings, museums,
cultural and historical institutions, transportation facilities and
infrastructure, college campuses, government facilities, schools, distribution centers, and
private residences. Report generation based on surveys,
including recommendations, comparison to peer institutions, anticipated costs and cost/benefit ratio,
and schedules for security enhancement implementation.

Development of security and
protection programs for new construction facilities
with client institutions, city and government
agencies, and developers. Creation of drawings and
specifications, as required to procure security enhancements through
negotiated or competitive bid purchasing. DVS also provides
in-house security cost estimating and control, assistance in the
bidding and award process, and oversight of contractor activity for
quality assurance.

Peer review of existing security
designs as provided by the Owner,
Engineer, or Contractor, particularly in situations where existing
designs are considered less than required to meet client demands
and/or expectations.

Partnership with licensed structural
engineering firms specializing in explosion-protective design and
building response modeling,
in order to provide a complete assessment and recommendations
package for clients at risk from unusual terrorist threat.
Similar partnering with mechanical engineering firms specializing in
airborne contaminate detection and control.

Development of short term security
solutions to mitigate immediate threats and/or risks, as well as
mid-range and long term master plans to allow for a graduated
program of security development, enhancement, and implementation,
as directed by client budgeting, migrating threats, and institution
expansion programs.
